Here we are with the new issue of PARAGON - the long running action adventure anthology! If you grew up in the UK in the 70's and 80's you probably bought a comic from the local newsagent such as 2000AD, Eagle, Battle, Victor or Action. PARAGON is a continuation in that vein of regular characters in stand alone stories or multi part adventures and this issue has three of our regular creations appear;
Captain Winston Bulldog- the anthropomorphic defender of the skies above Blighty - returns in the first part of a longer classic tale, Bulldog on Mars, written by creator Jason Cobley and illustrated by Joe Ahern.
The ongoing Jikan Chronicles, tales of the time-travelling demon-hunting samurai, find our hero distraught after mistakenly attacking his centuries old friend Merlyn and trying to cope in his own hellworld with the aftermath. Written by long time scribe Mark Howard, drawn by El Chivo and lettered by Filippo Roncone, this building to an exciting climax!
And a special double length story this issue for Spencer Nero, the British agent with an ancient mask that gives him special powers, finds himself up against the Crudies as once again he tries to punch, thump and batter his way to victory!
The regular team of script writer Greg Meldrum, artistic talents of Scott Twells and lettering guru Filippo Roncone bring another adventure to life in this 13 pager! All wrapped up behind a colourful cover by classic Bulldog artist Nick Raybould and it is not to be missed!
