JIKAN - in the beginning

The first Jikan story was printed in issue 2 of PARAGON (back issues still available, only £1.50! Click the link on the right to order), but was originally drawn as a 3 panel newspaper style strip (I was reading a lot of Modesty Blaise collections at the time) and has never been seen in this form - until now.

It's actually a difficult style to do - how do you move a story on and yet have a cliffhanger every three frames? Have a look and see if I succeeded.

As always, I'd love to know what you think

Ah, I had no idea you wrote it this way...interesting. I'll be consulting issue #2 shortly with that in mind!

Hello Dave
I was just wondering if you were still looking for artists for the stories you mentioned on the 2000ad board. You can see some of my stuff on my blog, I'm keen to try working with a writer after doing some pages for Fractal Friction
